BOIS D'ÉBÈNE

The opening spritz hits with a woody, almost smoky warmth that settles into something dark and smooth on my skin — lasted through a full workday. I’ve never tried anything with Bois de Cabreuva before, and the amber patchwork is exactly as described.

The dry-down is what got me — that amber-wood patchwork from all over the world really does settle into something deep and warm, not cloying at all. I sprayed it on my coat sleeve this morning and it’s still whispering on the fabric tonight.

This opens with a dark, smoky sweetness that lingers for hours—the Cabreuva essence gives it a warmth I keep catching on my scarf even the next day. It's rich without being cloying, and a couple of sprays is plenty.
