CRYSTAL SAFFRON

The saffron arrived in pristine condition, and its luminous, crystal-like threads are even more striking in person than in the photos. I’ve already used it in a slow-cooked risotto and the color it released was a deep, golden glow that made the dish feel special.

The saffron’s bright, almost crystalline strands are stunning to look at, and they release a delicate aroma the moment they hit warm water. I’ve been adding a few threads to my rice and soups, and the color it gives off is a deep, golden glow that feels truly special.

This is my first time cooking with Greek saffron and the threads are so fine and evenly dried, they bloom into a deep golden liquor in warm water within minutes. I used just a pinch in a risotto and the color and fragrance were incredible, definitely worth the splurge for a special dish.
