The birch tar comes through just right—smoky and grounding without being heavy, and it lasts most of the day on my hair. I’ve been reaching for it every morning since it arrived, even on days I’m just working from home.
Smells like a sun-warmed leather glove, exactly as the Grasse perfumer described — that smooth, powerful birch tar note is surprisingly wearable, not harsh at all. The dry-down on my skin lasts a solid six hours, which is more than I expected from a hair mist.
The birch tar note hits first—smoky and raw like Finland itself—then softens into something smooth, almost like worn leather warming in the sun. I spray it on my scarf and catch whiffs of that Grasse-inspired elegance all day without it ever turning harsh.
